Dear Matua Leighton

My name is Moli. I am a year 8 student at Glenbrae School. Thank you very much for coming to Glenbrae School to talk to the year 7 & 8 students about a career in teaching.

I was happy when you came to Glenbrae School and told us about yourself and how you became a teacher. When you were telling us about you wanting to be a millionaire, it was funny. I learned it’s important to find a good job to support your family.

You have inspired us to study well, get a job and do our best for our families.

Yours sincerely

Moli

Dear Constable Geoff

My name is Moli and I am a year 8 student at Glenbrae school. I am writing to thank you for coming to our school and sharing about your career pathway of becoming a police man.

What I learnt was it can be hard to be a police man. What I found interesting was you had to run 3k under 15 minutes and that must have been hard.

I am a fast runner, a good athlete and would love to join the Police force. I want to be a policeman just like you.

My Question is how fast can anyone run 3k?

Thank you for sharing about your career and helping us understand what it takes to be a police constable.

Yours sincerely

Dear Mr. T Parker

My name is Moli and I am a year 8 student at Glenbrae School. I am writing to say thank you for coming and sharing with us about the construction industry.

When you were telling us about the construction industry, I was very interested in knowing that  there would be lot of jobs for people in the future. What I learnt from your talk about the construction industry is what jobs are available for people to do. I am wondering what the right job is for me and if it is going to be hard. I want to be a builder like you wanted to be. I found it interesting to hear that there were different jobs like Engineer, Builder, Architect, Project Manager, Quannity Surveyor, Survey Technician, Foreman, Building inspector, Urban planner, Construction site manager etc.
I would like to ask how did you become a construction industry worker?
Thank you for coming, I hope you come again.
Yours sincerely

Dear Mr Dunn

My name is Moli and I am a year 8 student at Glenbrae school. I am writing to you to thank you for coming to talk to us about enrolling at Tamaki College.

What I learnt was how to get ready to enrol at Tamaki College. It was interesting when you told us there was a scholarship to Tamaki College and you can earn 1,000 dollars and a new 2014 Chromebook. That is a lot to offer a student.

Thank you also for telling us about what we would learn at the college and what activities we could be part of.

I am enrolling at Tamaki College and will do my best there.
